Government gives salary to those who are working under them and contributing in the betterment of the country. By climbing mount Everest you'll be definitely achieving a great thing in your life which is actually causes a negligible or minuscule impact in terms of national growth. So no government will be giving you salary for the adventures that you opt to do in your life.
