Pls Explain mee about NDA .what is the scope for girls in that

Full Form of NDA is National Defence Academy. It is a national level entrance test conducted by UPSC for admission to various courses offered by National Defence Academy.

As per the NDA eligibility , only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply.

Girls are not eligible to apply for NDA .

National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for the admission to Navy, Air Force and Army. NDA/NA is conducted twice a year in April and September. NDA I is conducted in April while NDA 2 is held in November. The notification of NDA is released along with the application form. The Commission will also release the facility to withdraw application form for the candidates who will register successfully. Candidates who are between 16.5 to 19.5 years of age can apply for NDA exam. The selection process of NDA exam comprises two stages – written and Service Selection Board (SSB) Interview.

NDA Exam is only for unmarried Male candidate.

You can go in Defence by some other entrance exam-

• JAG Entry
• NCC special entry
• OTA

NDA is nothing but National Defence Academy.Girls are not eligible for NDA exam, since National Defence Academy doesn't recruit girls.NDA & NA Exam is conducted by UPSC twice a year for the recruitment of male candidates in the Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Air Force wings of NDA .
