Hi Dr. Singh, You are in 3rd proff major or minor....If in minor you can start with brushing your second MBBS subjects as you have recently completed the same...You cn do same by solving MCQs of the concerned subjects....along with that go for your current year subjects...so that you will cover atleast 7 subjects this year.....you can also solve relevant topics from anat and physio of ENT and Ophthal...Since major is a hectic year.....Go for the 4 subject MCQ with some short subject like derma, anaesthesia, radio, psychiatry..etc...Ad then in internship period you have to cover remaining subjects in first 8 months...and upto your exam revise...which is usually in month of Janurary....

As a third year student of MBBS, you have amply time on your hands to prepared for the major PG entrances, namely NEET, AIIMS, JIPMER and PGIMER. Ensure that you make the most of the coming months by focusing on your MBBS portions and grasping the concepts as best as you can. Make notes constantly. Also purchase the important books for all the 19 topics that will be asked in NEET PG, but stick to one good book for each topic as much as possible. These will be essential preparation for all the exams. Get as many previous years' question papers as you can for NEET, AIIMS and PGIMER. List down the most high-yielding topics, that is the ones with the most questions, and work harder on them. Keep solving MCQs from the important books available for each topic. PG Entrances will also have images as questions, so you need to start preparing for that as well. Clear your doubts as soon as they arise. Given the time available, try and cover as much of Harisson's Internal Medicine as you can. For the shorter topics apart from the 19 major ones, prepare from notes. Engaging in regular clinical practise and studying practical books will be a good additional strategy as well. Create a preparation strategy now itself, which is not time-oriented, rather target-oriented. Revise in the short-term, that is after completing each topic go through it in its entirety with the help of notes made during preparation, and ensure that you leave time for comprehensive revision in the long-term as well, that is atleast two months before appearing for the PG entrances. You can take tips from your seniors or other mentors who have cracked PG exams in the past. Stay positive, prepare with dedication and give your best shot. All the best!
