For your intermediate or 10 + 2 or there are mainly 3 choices or streams you can go for:-

SCIENCE STREAM:-

It is one of the most popular stream for 10 + 2.

There are further two groups:-

Science Biology group:- You get to compulsorily study physics chemistry and Biology etc, mostly taken if you want to get into medicine i.e MBBS etc after 10+2

Science Maths group:-You get to compulsorily study physics chemistry and Maths etc. Mostly taken if you want to get into engineering after your 10 + 2.


COMMERCE

You get to study subjects like economics, accountancy and business law or business study

It is taken if you want to get into investment banking, chartered accountant, company secretaries

ARTS

You study subjects like sociology, history, literature, psychology, political science, philosophy, economics etc.

Mainly taken if you want to get into journalism, literature etc

So, you can go for any stream depending upon your interest
