Hi Bhaurao, The NTSE test comprises of 2 parts, the MAT (Mental Ability Test) and the SAT (Scholastic Aptitute Test). Language is a part of the SAT. In your case language is Marathi I assume.
In MAT there is no negative marking but in SAT each wrong answer fetches a negative mark of 1/3 marks.
So yes, there is 1/3 marks deducted for question in Marathi/language which are answered wrong.

Please note, negative marking is only in the Stage 2 exam of NTSE. Stage 1 doesnt have any negative marking
