Its nice of you that you are preparing for SCRA 2018 . Its considered as a golden opportunity after 12 as a carrier. But unfortunately the conduction of the Exam has been stopped by the INDIAN RAILWAYS. But there are still many Exams that can get you a carrier in RAILWAYS. You can prepare for them . All the Best!

It's good that you are interested in Special Class Railway Apprentice Examination. However, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has annulled the examination from 2017. But no need to get disheartened as may go for several other examinations conducted by UPSC at the 10+2 level including NDA. Or of you are interested in pusruing a career as Indian Railway Services in Mechanical Engineering (IRSME) officer, you will need to appear for the Engineering Services Examination (ESE) administered by UPSC.
