The Polytechnic Lateral Entry Exam for the K5 (IT) has negative marking for each incorrect answer.

Marking Scheme:
Total No. of questions: 100
+ 4 marks will be awarded for each correct answer.
-1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
0 marks will be given for each unattempted question or multiple options marked.
Total marks = 400

Marks breakdown subject-wise:
Physics, Chemistry, and Math cover 40% of the total paper = 40 questions. (160 marks)
Information Technology covers 60% of the total paper = 60 questions. (240 marks)

Exam Mode : ONLINE (CBT)
Exam Duration : 2.5 Hrs
