In wake of the riots that shook New Delhi, the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) had to postpone Class 10 and 12 board exams at 86 centers in North East and affected areas which were scheduled from February 28 and 29, 2020. However, as per the reports, CBSE is expected to conduct withheld exams in April/May. This increases the chances of the dates of the withheld examinations and the NEET Examination clashing. As of now, there has been no official statement by NTA regarding the rumours of NEET being postponed, which is scheduled to be held on May 3, in pen and paper mode. CBSE, however, also assured that letters have been sent to NTA (National Testing Agency) to ensure that the NEET Examination date does not clash with the ones of the board examinations.
