Hello,

These are the definitions:

power limiting pumps - It operates by reducing the displacement and therefore the flow as the pressure increases so that the power rating of the prime mover does not exceed.

Torque limiting pumps- It adjusts the flow in circuit to keep the prime remover from stalling under heavy loads.
