As you have not mentioned the specific details, I am assuming your question is concerned with the eligibility of NDA.
According to the eligibility criteria from the past years, to explain in a well understandable manner, if you have myopia the limitations are -0.75 and for hypermetropia it's +1.5 i.e. It should not be more than 2.5D and 3.5D respectively, including disorders like astigmatism. Thus, with the better eye, in a a distant chart he/she should have 6/6 and 6/9 with or without glasses in the worse eye. Besides he/she should pass the color vision Ishihara test, i.e., should be able to distinguish between the green and red colous and any kind of laser surgeries or Radial Keratotomies done for improving the visual standards will lead to permanent rejection.
