Rashtriya Military School Bangalore Admission 2021 Selection Process

Admission to Rashtriya Military School Bangalore is a three-fold process consisting of a written test, Interview and a medical test. Candidates can find the detailed selection process below

Written Test - Common entrance test (CET) for classes 6 and 9 is conducted jointly for all the 5 military schools of India. Students who qualify Rashtriya Military School Bangalore admission test with the minimum qualifying marks will be called for the Interview at RMS Bangalore.

Interview- Interviews are held separately for class 6 and 9 admissions. The interview for class 6 carries 20 marks while for class 9, it is of 50 marks. Students have to pass the interview test to get admission in Rashtriya Military School Bangalore.

Medical Test - Students who pass the interview are required to pass the medical test. Medical tests are done in April at military hospitals chosen by the student at the time of filling the application form. Only those students are offered admission in Bangalore Military School who are declared medically fit by the military school.

Rashtriya military school given admission in class 6,9 and 11th standard. It conducts a common entrance test for 6th and 9th.

Eligibility criteria to get admission in 6th std is stud ents must not be less than 10 years and more than 11 years of age as on July 1, 2021. A common entrance test will be conducted for admissions in Class 6 across various exam centres.

Admission process

The prospectus and application form is M ade available around January . Students/parents can obtain the application form from any of the Rashtriya Military School.

The application form can be obtained by paying Rs 550/-( Rs 275/- in case of SC/ST, copy of the Caste certificate to be submitted).

To get the admission form by post, students/parents have to forward a self-address slip and a demand draft of Rs 600/-(Rs 325/-for SC/ST including Rs 50/- Postage Charge).
