Recent TOI article shows 22 lakh approx registration in jee mains. So what percentile will be needed for top 3 nit's cse branch??? Also top iiit's?

As we go through the latest cut-off analysis of JEE-Main 2020 then it shows that if a General category candidate is seeking admission in top 3 NITs or top NITs and especially in topmost branch which is CSE then he/she should secure at least the AIR under 500. To secure such rank you should target your JEE-Main 2021 score at least 220 marks out of 300 and percentile against this is expected to be around 99.9 or more. Another reason being is, this year there is huge increase in number of registrations and it is expected to be much more than previous year as the number of attempts have also been increased so there will be very tough competition. For CSE branch in IIITs as well, you should try to maintain your percentile above 99.
