Recommended book for chemistry IIT JAM

For IIT JAM Chemistry (CY), a good preparation strategy is to use standard textbooks for concepts with one dedicated JAM question source.

Recommended Books :

1. Physical Chemistry: Physical Chemistry — P. Bahadur
2. Organic Chemistry: Organic Chemistry — Morrison & Boyd
3. Inorganic Chemistry: Concise Inorganic Chemistry — J.D. Lee
4. Practice: IIT JAM Chemistry previous-year question papers — very important for understanding the actual level and pattern.

Tip from my side: Don’t study too many books. Build concepts from 1 standard book per section and spend substantial time solving PYQs and mock tests.
