Correct Answer: 247.5
Solution :
The lowest percentage profit of the company was 10% in the year 2011.
Let the expenditure as E and the revenue as R.
The profit = R – E
Given that the profit percentage is 10%.
⇒ R – E = E × $\frac{10}{100}$
⇒ R = E + E × $\frac{10}{100}$
Substituting E = 225 crore,
R = 225 + 225 × $\frac{10}{100}$ = 225 + 22.5 = 247.5 crore
Hence, the correct answer is 247.5.
