NIOS is recognized by the government of India,The candidate who passed class 12th or equivalent from any recognized board are eligible for exam. But eligibility criteria varies depending on course.

There should be no problem if you have done your 12th from NIOS. Also it depends which course you wish to pursue after your 12th and therefore the eligibility may vary as per the course and admission requirement.
