Sagar datta vs burdwan medical college....which is better for undergraduates???

Thanks for asking this question. I will be pleased to answer you. Here what I am sharing which is best UG college. Please follow up:-

There are pros and cons of both the colleges….

• Burdwan Medical College is quite older college, it is a district college. So the patient load is more, whereas Sagore Dutta is situated in Kamarhati region(Kolkata), patient load is less because people like to go to R G Kar Medical College or CMC which are nearby and way better than Sagar Dutta in all facilities.
• So you will get less no. of cases in Sagore Dutta. Even the infrastructure there is not so good I had heard from my friends that they had to go to other colleges for dissection and practicals. so you can understand their situation 2-3 years ago.
• But the scenario has changed a little bit. Now they have good infrastructure. And one more advantage is its location. You stay close to Kolkata, you can avail many facilities than being in Rural Area.
• The internship is less hectic in Sagore Dutta than Burdwan. You can easily prepare for Post Graduation entrance in the internship year , whereas in Burdwan or any other medical college it's really tough to study for PG.
• But the internship is also important, you should know the basics, which internship will teach you, basics that you will need to be a good physician. So it's your decision which one you will choose. Burdwan has better infrastructure, patient load, and equipment whereas Sagore Dutta has a locational advantage, less hectic internship schedule.

Now the choice is yours and one more thing, if you want to stay in your home Sagore Dutta(I don't know if you are from Kolkata or not) is a good option but you should also experience what hostel life is it teaches us a lot.
