Dear Aspirant ,
It is different for different posts.
Like if someone is working as an medical officer after qualifying the state PSC exam or UPSC exam then the salary is more.
Starting salary is 53k now n will increase further. Even AIIMS appoint BAMS doctors and salary is worth 90k + accommodation for junior medical officer where as it is 1 lakh 20k for senior medical officer. The salary is less incase of NRHM n NUHM n I.e around 3035k initially.
Apart from this, if one goes for lectureship the salary is often good i.e more than 50k initially in govt colleges.
There is future and scopes in BAMS if someone read n take Ayurveda seriously.
