sample or model test paper in new pattern for clat 2020

It will be an offline exam and two hours’ time will be given to the students. The CLAT question paper consists of 150 multiple-choice questions. There are five sections in CLAT Exam (http://www.nkjudiciary.com/clat-exam/) paper these sections are written as below: –

• English including Comprehension
• General Knowledge and Current Affairs
• Elementary Mathematics (Numerical Ability)
• Legal Aptitude
• Logical Reasoning

Though sections wise break up marks for CLAT 2020 is yet to be decided but as per earlier sections wise break up of marks is generally as follows – English is of 40 marks, General Knowledge is of 50 Marks, Mathematics is of 20 Marks, Logical Reasoning is of 40 Marks and Legal Aptitude is of 50 Marks.
That each correct question will give you one mark but the incorrect mark will deduct 0.25 marks as there will be negative marking in the exam.

CLAT syllabus has been changed and to give you a gist of the changed syllabus,

The no.of questions asked will be reduced from 200 to 120/125 but the time duration will be the same

English: There will be no more direct vocabulary questions

GK: Static GK will be removed and only your knowledge on current affairs will be tested

Mathematics: Only DI based questions.

Logical Reasoning: More emphasis on critical reasoning questions

Legal Aptitude: No Legal GK questions but the reasoning questions will remain.
