sat entrance exam is for which colleges

SAT (Standardized college admission test) which is used to measure your ability of reasoning through your writing, critical reading and mathematical knowledge (3 sections of SAT ). It was started in the year 1926 and is conducted 7 times every year.

The purpose of SAT is to take admissions in undergraduate programs of US colleges and universities.

Every year SAT exam is held nationally in October, November, December, January, March (US only and also SAT only), May and June and is 3 hrs and 45 mins long .

SAT II are the specific subject tests .This aptitude test is a national admission test where you can choose subjects of your interest.

There are 20 SAT Subject Tests that incorporates five general subject areas. It includes English, History, Languages, Mathematics and Science ( Physics, Chemistry and biology ( E/M). The candidate can choose the subject according to there interest . Each of the Subject Test is provided with an hour duration time to work upon. The questions are of multiple choices with four tentative options.
