If I am allotted seat in 1st round of counselling but not interested in that course, then do I have to take it, to be eligible for 2nd round

It was compulsory to deposit 40k in order to proceed to 2nd round if you were alloted a seat in 1st round.
You still have the option to go for spot counselling.
