SEBI is the exam conducted for the post of Grade 'A' Assistant Manager for Legal Stream, General Stream, Engineering Stream and Information Technology.
SEBI - Securities and Exchange Board of India is the Regulator of Securities market in India, owned by Government of India.
Eligibility for this exam is -
For General Stream :-
1. Master's degree in any stream
2. Bachelor's degree in Law
3. Bachelor's degree in Engineering
4. Chartered Accountant
5. Company Secretary
6. Chartered Financial Analyst
7. Cost and Work Account
For Legal Stream :- Bachelor's degree in Law
For Engineering Stream (Civil) :- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
For Engineering Stream (Electrical) :- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
For Information Technology Stream :-
1. Graduate in Engineering ( Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics )
2. Masters in Computers Application
3. Graduate in any stream with post graduation in computers or information technology.
The selection procedure is conducted within three stages - first one is Online Screening examination, secondly, written examination with three papers, and lastly, an interview is held.
The phase 1 exam consists of General Awareness, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Test of Reasoning and Awareness about Securities Market.
The phase 2 exam consists of Securities Market, English, Economic and Social Issues, and finance & Management.
The interview is important since it contains 15% alongside of phase 2 exam with 85%.
