Hi,
Yes, It is worth to take a second drop for the JEE if -
- You are determined to work hard for one more year..
- You have scored lower than your actual potential because of bad luck.
- You haven't covered whole syllabus as per requirement of JEE exam.
- You truly believe that yes you can do much better next year.
- You haven't practiced a lot of questions as practice makes a man perfect.
- You had joined a coaching which was not upto the mark and there is scope of joining better coaching institute than the previous one.
- You have done well in boards, you can take a drop. This means your basics are clear.
No, if you won't consider the following factors before taking a drop. a second drop not at all worth for JEE. Instead do engineering from a private college. At the end of 4 years, your skill would matter the most. Take admission and start doing extra coding. First learn a language and then do DS + Algorithms. Then start doing competitive programming. You can also take a job from off-campus placements. There is also a hope that your destiny has planned something very great for you.
Stay motivated and work hard.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.
