If you are shortlisted for the second round, you have to appear for group discussion which is followed by personal interview. Hope this answers your querry.

for welingkar ,
the Applicants with a good overall profile will be called for GDPI in February.
The parameters of a good profile will include:
1.Strong academic background,
2.Work experience and good academic consistency
3.Extracurricular initiatives leading to Achievements and Awards.
after that you will be called for admission if you are shortlisted.
there is also different weightage:
1. qualifying entrance test(CAT,XAT,etc)-35%
2.academics+ GDPI+ extracurricular activities-(65%)
