Semipermeable memberane is a type of memberane, that will allow only certain molecules or ions to pass through it by diffusion.
Depending on the memberane and the solute , permeability may depend on solute, size , solubility, properties or chemistry.
Note that properties of semipermeable memberane is not the same as selectively permeable membrane.
