Suppose your family’s annual income is less than 8 lakh and you do not fall under any reserved category (like SC, ST, or OBC). In that case, you can apply under the EWS (Economically Weaker Section) category.
In short:
Shaik - OBC (Central List) in most cases.
EWS - Only if you are from the General category and meet income criteria.
