Hello Kashish,
If you fill the form under the EWS category, you will be eligible for the EWS seats even if you fill the general category cut offs too. This is applicable for not only EWS but for all the reserved classes and groups. Hope this helped, good luck!

You can apply through the category but in that case you can get the seat of general category candidate only if seats remained unfilled (which seems impossible) in case of IIMs.. Is that true?
