Should i refer state board textbook for mht cet?
Hello Ritik,
As per the official notification of MHT CET, the entrance exam claims to be of the same difficulty level as JEE Main. So, it is advisable that in addition to state board textbooks, you also read advanced books like:
- Complete Mathematics by McGraw Hill Education Pvt Ltd.
- Coordinate Geometry by S.L. Loney
- 103 Trigonometry Problems by Titu Andreescu & Zuming Feng
- Problems in Calculus of One Variable by I.A. Maron
- Problems in General Physics by I.E. Irodov
- Fundamentals of Physics by Halliday, Resnick & Walker
- Organic Chemistry by Paula Bruice Yurkanis
- Organic Chemistry by Morrison & Boyd
- Inorganic Chemistry by J.D. Lee
I would also suggest you solve ample sample and previous year's question papers. Sample papers meant for JEE Main could also be used for those topics that overlaps with MHT CET syllabus.
Regards.
