should I take a drop if I have got 92.44 percentile

Hello student. You have not mentioned which exam this results is about. Since mains results is the one that is recently released, I am thinking that it is related to mains results. 92.44 is a good percentile. But again if you wish to take a drop, then think about it once. Because one year drop or long term in the stream of engineering is a bit risky step.

you would have to answer alot of questions and more over after an year break you have to come out with a really good percentile that can make the path to your goal. You are supposed to be in a position to convince family members.

I suggest you to go for other courses which you are interested in or apply for some other college. There are pretty many good colleges which you can apply an dtake test and get through.
