Should I take mechanical branch if I want to join the defence forces?

Hello Neelesh,
It purely depends on which area you are interested in this defence forces.
If you are ECE engineer then you have options to join as regiment of EMae or crops of signals or even AAD ( army air defence)
If you are cs engineer then crops of signals.
If you are an EEE engineer you have EME
If mechanical you have EME.
There is nothing as such called best. Every stream has it's own significance.ECE have decent no of vacancies .
