There are several writings by the marginalized sections of the society which describe the entire community functioning as a whole.
Some of the writings showed how the rich and the upper class used their superior quality and ways to to exploit the lower classes of the society and treat them as slaves just for their pleasure and fun. Administration even exploited the lower classes by forcing them to a higher amount of tax in form of various ways.
