Similarity between the course of CAT & CDS??

similarity in syllabus of tissnet/tissmat,XAT and CAT? can preparation of one help to clear others too?

rying to find similarities between these two exams is like comparing Apples and Oranges. Yes, you can argue that both have a similar shape, but at the core, both of them are completely different. Same is the case with the syllabus for CAT and SSC CGL.

Hii Danny,
There is no similarities between CAT and CDS. CAT is Common Admission Test conducted for MBA entrance exam while CDS is Combined Defence Services conducted for the admission to Army, Navy, Air foce and OTA.
CAT has three sections VARC (Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension), DILR (Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning), and QA (Quantitative Ability) whereas for admission to Indian Army, Navy and Air force candidates have to appear for English, General Knowledge, and Elementary Mathematics and for OTA candidates have to appear for English and General Knowledge.
