Hi Anantha.Donot worry after councling fee payment if you donot want to join in VIT then you can get your fee back,but you will not be getting the total amount.They will take 10000 and give you back the remaining amount if you wanted to quit off.So donot worry about the fee,go for the councelling and attend it.
