Sir can I take over round 2 allocate seat after allocated different seat in round 3 in aiims counsilling
Hi kunal,
If you have accepted a seat in the second round and take upgradation option then you will be eligible for the third round.
If you will not get a seat in third round and have taken second round alloted seat then you will have that second round seat.
If you will be alloted seat in the third round then you can't go down for having previous seat.
You will be eligible for newly alloted seat only.
For any other information you can ask us.
During the second round of counselling of aiims, you must have chosen option-2 that is accept the alloted seat and want to participate in third round of seat allocation. In that case candidates choosing option-2 must join the seat alloted by upgradation in subsequent round. Such candidates cannot retain earlier alloted seat otherwise they will have to pay penulty of Rs. 1 lakh.
Also, according to norms, any seat lower than already alloted seat will not be considered for further seat allotment. So whatever seat you get in third round will be higher order than your previously alloted seat.
So clearly, you cannot take over your previously alloted seat if you are alloted a different seat in current round.
Hope this helps you.
