    It's not about focusing on the marks. Every year there is a different level of question difficulty and marks vs rank are decided accordingly. So I would strictly advice you to focus on your concepts and go I'm depth with them and practice a lot of questions,easy and tough so that you can crack this exam. If you go with a mind that you have to get this marks,you cannot crack it. If you go with a mindset of how much you can do and just focus on your preparation and then attempt the paper,then you will do better.Getting that marks requires deep concepts and in-depth understanding.     If you just follow the previous years trend then 175 marks is the minimum marks required to get a rank below 10000 have ever for safety you should considered more than 200 because the difficulty level is not same at all the times and also there may because that the whole batch may perform better compared to previous years therefore this are indicative and not  actual

    Thank you sir.. But sir i am an average student.... So can i achieve...... 200..  No sir its very difficult.... But i will try for April 2019 test....  And from UP BOARD also....  Means hindi medium.... Sir can you tell me the other one engineering entrance exam which could i passed and got good marks....

    Yes an average student can also score more than 200 marks in JEE mains provided that you remain sincere and follow the proper time table you made it and also give equal importance to all the subjects and remain motivated because this is a very important fact that students get perform better but due to less of motivation they remain intact.
