sir how much i have to score in jee mains so that i get seat in nit....i am from general category....pls help...

At least 140 marks to get lower branch in lower nit

If you are from general category then for getting any NIT you have to score at least 140 but to get top NIT you have to score >190. One of my friend who scored 180 this year is not getting top nit but one who scored 192 has already got a good one.

- For NIT's you need to get atleast 180 marks
- And for IIT's you need to score more than 250.

If you are from general category........then a score between 200-280 will fetch you top NITs and a score between 160-200 will fetch you average NITs.....and 130-160 marks would fetch you lower rank NITs......so plan and prepare accordingly....best of luck

- To get any nit you should score at least 140 marks.
- To get core branches like cs ,me,civil etc you should score at least 190 marks in jee.
