I had a schoolmate, Ayush. He studied with me from Class 1st to Class 10th. He came from an underprivileged background. His father worked for a crematorium which paid very less. Ours being a convent school, the fees was nominal but there were other miscellaneous charges the parents had to pay for. There would be books one month and a cultural festival another month. We were too young to understand the burden. But we used to pester our parents for the money. My parents paid it before anyone in the class paid and my friend was always the last to pay. But as kids we never took it serious. We completed school and college and we moved ahead in our careers and lost touch. Few years back, he pinged me. He is abroad working as a Software Engineer. His father sent him abroad for job pursuit and my friend succeeded. Now had he been sitting and whining over the fact that he did not have money or did not have enough resources without putting in hard work, may be he wouldn't have been where he is today. If he only sat complaining about his lack of privileges and if he only kept comparing himself with others and sat there doing nothing, he would not have a story worth being shared and spoken about. Everyone has problems and no one is immune to it. But how you set them aside and work hard if you genuinely want to succeed is in your hands. Or else, the time might just flow and there might come a point when nothing that you say might be really taken serious. The world is so fast paced that it doesn't have time for dreamers. The world recognises people who put in efforts rather than just dreaming and doing nothing about it.
