Well, if you have been selected for the preparatory course in some IIT, then you may surely go for it. It is because it can help you achieve a very good rank in JEE MAINS and ADVANCED and you will also have a engineering experience for one year which is better than simply dropping for one year for preparation. You can prepare very well in this course and it will be beneficial for you. You may also apply for other colleges like NITs if your rank is much good.
