sir I am belongs to very poor family and the fees are very high that are not affordable for me so how can go give me admission?(help me sir) and sir my second question is if I scored 99.95-99.99 percentile in cat then can I get admision in top colleges without any fees?
There are many scholarships that are available for meritorious and needful Students. The aim is to ensure that no student goes education less because he/she has no money. You haven't mentioned your Academic profile but if you are expecting a percentile of 99 and above, you can get a call from all the IIMs. Now there are various scholarships and schemes available for SC/ST, meritorious, backward categories, etc. Also there are alumni who sponsor or fund students. And the banks also offer bank loans and financial assistance is always available at all the IIMs and almost all top B schools as well. Few of them here for you:
n IIM A, all SC/ST Candidates of the Post Graduate Programmes are awarded 150 Rs per month for 10 months. Meritorious SC/ST Candidates whose annual income doesn't exceed Rs.4,50,000 are awarded Meritorious scholarships by the Government of India and you can check that at: http://www.scholarships.gov.in A student can accept more than one scholarship or Financial aid in an academic year as long as the sponsor has no objection to it.
IIM B offers Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment Scholarship offers scholarship to SC Candidates for National Scholarship for Higher Education for Scheduled Caste Students from Meritorious SC Students. This is to cover tution expenses in full. Apart from that, all Students with annual household income below Rs.6,00.000 are eligible to apply for financial aid. Aditya Birla Group, Ratan Tata Trust, T. Thomas Scholarship, OP Jindal Engineering & Management Scholarship are few scholarships available at IIM C for eligible Candidates based on their merit and other criteria set by the sponsors. NTPC awards merit scholarships to SC/ST Category Candidates with disabilities and Government of India sponsors merit and means scholarship for SC/ST Candidates based on their performance during the admission process. IIM Lucknow has quite a few scholarships but in specific to SC/ST Candidates, the Government of India awards Rs.1500 per annum to all SC/ST Candidates admitted to the programme.
