sir i applied for JEE mains session 1 as general category but i'll change it gen-EWS in the second session correction window but my doubt is that, will the result be based on gen category or gen-EWS for both attempts ?

Your final category will be General - EWS for both the attempts if you have successfully changed it during the correction window of session 2 , then it will become your final category that will be used to evaluate your results and used during counselling.
By any chance if you miss the correction window , then your session 1 General status will be used , so don't miss the correction window it will be open in Late February 2026 . After correcting it your both attempts will be evaluated under Gen - EWS category , but you must have the EWS certificate ready to upload during counselling.
