That totally depends upon for which engineering entrance exam you are preparing?
If it's jee mains or jee advanced, then it is too difficult to get high marks only on the basis of class 12th.You should start preparing for exams from NCERT BOOKS and try to solve as many questions as you can.You need to work very hard if you want to crack entrance exam.
