Sir , I got 73 marks in TS eamcet and scored 97.1% in board. Help me out with a best college and branch. I am BC-D category.

You have got some decent score only no need to worry. 73 marks are good marks rather than some 55 as there is a huge crowd in between 50 to 80 marks as and for every marls rank nearly changes around 1500.
I have calculated the rank of you and it will be nearly around 8 thousand as you belong to bc.d you get a little reservation.
And i have considered your ipe marks roughly around 570 for 600 in the group subjects.
8 thousand rank is good to get in to some of the top ten colleges.
If you choose some core branches like cse
Then you have chances to get in best colleges jntuk, mvsr, cvr, vardhaman , bvrit , jntu ananthapur , jntu sultanpur .
If you choose ece or eee you have a little chances in getting seat in mallareddy gnit and also some of the above colleges .

• If you prefer for non core like mechanical civil chemical bio tech you can get seat in snist vnr mvsr grrr and some other top ten colleges in hyderabad.

For your extra information in eamcet counselling only the group subject marks are considered not any otger marks like that of languages and labs .
There will be a 25 percent of weightage in calculating the rank for ipe marks.
And a share of 75 is given for the eamcet marks scored by you.
The eamcet marks are consisered after the normalization only then you no need to worry of the session you have written.
