Sir, I got 78.16 percentile in jee mains in general cast, can I get any chance any Engineeering college ?

Hello Sneha Mazumder, with 78.6 percentile in JEE MAINS, it is very difficult to get the top Private and Government colleges of India like IIT, NIT, BITS, or any top college. But you can easily get a seat in any other private Colleges of India as there are very private universities in which you can apply for engineering.

Your rank will be in lakhs so you can not get seat through counselling. Better try for B Category seats in private colleges.

Well, basing upon your rank in JEE MAINS, it seems like you may not get admission into a reputed government engineering college in core branches of engineering like mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science engineering, civil engineering, etc. But still you can give it a try at the time of counseling and it's better to apply for colleges in your own home state so that the chances of getting admission are high. You may also apply for other deemed universities and private colleges at the time of counseling.
