Sir i got the sc preparatory 45. Can i get the preparatory course in IIT??? Sir please answer me.

Hello Anirban

One year preparatory course for SC/ST/PD candidates is offered to improve their intake in the B.Tech and Dual Degree programme.

At present most IIT’s have at least 10–20% drop in students from the above category after the first year as they are expelled for poor performance.

To cut expulsion of those students and help them to continue and finish their education, the preparatory courses were started.
