Hello aspirant.

Sastra University is one of the good colleges which has 'A' grade certification from NAAC and it is approved by the University Grants Commission [UGC] and All India Council of Technical Education [AICTE]. Sastra University takes in the engineering candidates based on 2 streams. Stream 1 for 70% of seats will consider both JEE mains score and 12th standard scores whereas stream 2 for 30% seats will consider only 12th standard scores. Under stream -1 the JEE Main scores and +2 marks will be considered, whose weightage is 25% & 75% respectively. Hence as you have scored good marks in your 12 th and 87 percentile in Jee mains you have a good chance to get a seat at Sastra University.
