As there is no application correction facility, due to incorrect data, your application may be rejected. All corrections can only be done before the final submission of the application form. So, if you have not submitted your application form (final submission) yet, then you can make the corrections, but not after the final submission.

However, what you can explore is to call the helpline number or the officials and ask them for a way out, if there's any.

In case of submitting the wrong information, you could be accountable for rendering wrong data in application form. There is a clause in the end of every application where you agree to the terms and conditions where you tick and submit the form. The clause reads that the information submitted by your is correct and if any information is found wrong in subsequent admission process, it could lead to cancellation/rejection of your form/candidature.

In case you have submitted the wrong PAN number, you should immediately contact the official authority and inform them about your problem.
