Hello,
According to eligibility criteria for admissions in NIT'S and IIT's a student must secure.
- 75% in class 12th board for general category student
- 65% in class 12th board for other category
- OR Your marks should be in top 20 percentile of your board.
Since your marks are 72% you will only get admission if you belong to some category or your marks lie in top 20 percentile.
