Sometimes the money is deducted from your account, but the payment confirmation does not immediately reflect on the portal. Usually, the status updates automatically within 24 to 48 hours.
If after 48 hours your status is still “incomplete,” you should contact the exam authority immediately with proof of payment, such as a bank transaction screenshot or payment receipt. They can verify the payment and update your application status. Until the status shows “confirmed,” your application may remain invalid, and you might not receive the admit card.

It seems your payment has not yet been updated in the JEE Main portal. Sometimes it takes 24–48 hours for the payment to reflect.

Please check your bank statement to confirm that the amount was deducted. Keep the payment receipt or transaction confirmation safe.

You should immediately contact the NTA helpdesk. Provide them with your application number, payment date and time, transaction ID, and payment proof . Ask them to update your payment status so your application is considered complete.
