Hey!! I am not an expert,but i have almost similar problem. I got 343 rank in JAM MA 2018, but I was not allotted seat in 1st round despite closing rank in some of courses which I chose in my preference list were below my rank. Closing rank for Applied Geophysics was 830 in OBC category, according to the list they revealed. Didn't you apply for that?
