You can choose ECE , EEE or ME branch. It depends on the interest also. These branch have good scope in government sector. Many job options are available for EEE graduates in the government sector. If your area of interest is in technical domain, you can try for technical job posts. You can apply for jobs in public sector companies like BEL, BHEL, HAL, NTPC, SAIL etc. You have to score 60% marks in EEE level so as to apply for PSU written exam as part of the selection procedure. You can also join as section engineer, divisional engineer, assistant engineer etc in railways. If you have interest towards the banking field, PO/Specialist officer position will be suitable. You can also apply for IAS, IPS, IES. Defense sector jobs are also apt for EEE graduates provided they clear UPSC CDS exam.
ECE is one of the oldest Engineering branches. Electronic Engineers are needed by many Industries. After completing b.tech , you can work as an Electronic Engineer, and numerous government job opportunities will be available to you.
After pursuing B.Tech in Electronics you will be eligible for jobs in government departments such as State Electricity Board, Indian Railways, Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited(BHEL), Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited(BSNL), Indian Army, Indian Navy, Defence Research and Development Organization(DRDO) etc.

Hello dear aspirant
Most of the B.Tech aspirants aim at a private job with good package, so it has became common to get a private job after B.Tech, but to get a government job you have two options, either a direct placement or a exam like for PSU.
The top two branches for your answer could be Computer science engineering and Electrical engineering. They have a good scope as far as government jobs are concerned.
Hope I am clear
