Sir iam studying 12 class sc caste what is eligible marks for iit
To get into IIT , you need to clear JEE MAINS ( that is pass the cutoff ) and then write JEE advance . To be eligible you need to be born after 1989. Cut off for mains will be known once the papers have come. All the best
Dear Sai, you have to appear for JEE Advanced which is conducted as a gateway for IIT admissions. Candidates appearing for JEE Advanced must qualify JEE Main. To be eligible for JEE Advanced 2019, candidate must have born on or after October 1, 1994. Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PwD categories will get a relaxation of 5 years in the age limit i.e., they should have been born on or after October 1, 1989. The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with an aggregate of at least 75% marks. For SC/ ST and PwD candidates, there is a relaxation of 10% as they need the aggregate of minimum 65% marks.
In order to get admission in IITs, NITs, IIITs, GFTIs you should have minimum 65% as SC category. The exam pattern keep change every year so it would be tough to tell you the exact marks. You can check the previous year cutoff rank for the particular IIT with the given below link.
